মহাগ্রন্থ আল-কুরআন এমন এক বিস্ময়কর গ্রন্থ, যাতে সকল জ্ঞান-বিজ্ঞানের মূলতত্ত্ব নিহিত আছে। নৃবিজ্ঞান একটি আধুনিক বিদ্যা হওয়া সত্ত্বেও কুরআনে এ বিদ্যার মৌলিক ধারণা বর্ণিত হয়েছে। প্রচলিত অর্থে নৃবিজ্ঞানের পরিচয়, দৈহিক নৃবিজ্ঞান, সামাজিক ও সাংস্কৃতিক নৃবিজ্ঞানের বৈশিষ্ট্য, নৃবিজ্ঞানের সঙ্গে সমাজবিজ্ঞান, জীববিজ্ঞান ও মনোবিজ্ঞানের সম্পর্ক, নৃবিজ্ঞান, ভাষাবিজ্ঞান, জাতিতত্ত্ব, ফোকলোর এবং প্রাগৈতিহাসিক প্রতœতত্ত্বের পারস্পরিকতা, উপনিবেশবাদ ও আন্তর্জাতিকতাবাদ, নৃবিজ্ঞান ও ধর্ম ইত্যাদি বিষয়ের আলোচনা ও এ সম্পর্কে কুরআনের দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি বর্ণনার উদ্দেশ্যে আলোচ্য প্রবন্ধটি প্রণীত হয়েছে। বর্ণনা ও বিশ্লেষণমূলক পদ্ধতিতে রচিত এ প্রবন্ধ থেকে প্রমাণিত হয়েছে যে, আল-কুরআন নৃবিজ্ঞানের যে ধারণা দিয়েছে তা পরিপূর্ণ ও মানব জীবনের সকল দিককে আন্তর্ভুক্তকারী। কুরআনের সঙ্গে নৃবিজ্ঞানের সম্পর্ক বিষয়ক লেখা যেহেতু বিরলদৃষ্ট, সেহেতু প্রবন্ধে বর্ণিত জ্ঞানের নতুনত্বের দিকে পাঠককে অগ্রসর করবে এবং জ্ঞানের নৈতিকতা প্রতিষ্ঠা দেবে বলে আমি মনে করি।

Anthropology in the holy Quran
Abstract
The Quran is a fountain source of knowledge. It offers all the key concepts for any disciplines ever known and beyond. Therefore, a modern discipline of knowledge though anthropology is, its basic idea can be found in the holy Quran. This article has aimed to define anthropology as understood in the modern epistemology, physical anthropology , the characteristics of social and cultural anthropology, to explain the relationship of anthropology with sociology, biology and psychology, to discuss the reciprocity among anthropology, philology, ethnology, folklore and prehistoric archaeology, to dissect colonialism and internationalism, anthropology and religion and so forth, and assess the same in the Quranic perspective. By employing descriptive and explanatory methods, the article has showed that the idea of anthropology which is alluded in the holy Quran is perfect and encompasses all aspects of human life. As the writing with regard to the relationship of anthropology with the holy Quran hardly appears, it would attract the attention of the readers to the innovation discussed in this article and lead them forward to do more and thereby the ethical value of knowledge would be established.

আল্লাহ্ তাআলার অসংখ্য নিয়ামতের মধ্যে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ও মূল্যবান একটি হলো ‘সময়’। মহাগ্রন্থ আল-কুরআন ও হাদীসের বিভিন্ন স্থানে নিয়ামতটির যথার্থ মূল্যায়নের প্রতি বিশেষ গুরুত্ব দেয়া হয়েছে। কেননা, সময়ের যথাযথ মূল্যায়ন ও ব্যবস্থাপনা ছাড়া মানবসম্পদ উন্নয়ন সম্ভব নয়। ইসলামী শরীআত এ কারণে সময় ব্যবস্থাপনাকে মানবজীবনের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অনুষঙ্গ হিসেবে বিবেচনা করেছে। ইসলামী দৃষ্টিভঙ্গির আলোকে সময়, সময়ের গুরুত্ব, সময় ব্যবস্থাপনা, মানুষের উভয় জীবনে সফলতার জন্য সময় ব্যবস্থাপনার গুরুত্ব ও পদ্ধতি আলোচনার উদ্দেশ্যে অত্র প্রবন্ধটি প্রণীত হয়েছে। প্রবন্ধটি প্রণয়নের ক্ষেত্রে বর্ণনা ও বিশ্লেষণমূলক পদ্ধতি গ্রহণ করা হয়েছে। আলোচ্য গবেষণাকর্ম থেকে প্রমাণিত হয়েছে, সমসাময়িক ‘সময় ব্যবস্থাপনা’ পরিভাষাটির মূল ধারণা বহু পূর্বে ইসলাম প্রদান করেছে। ইসলাম নির্দেশিত যৌক্তিক ও বিজ্ঞানভিত্তিক পদ্ধতিতে সময় ব্যবস্থাপনা সম্পন্ন হলে মানুষের সার্বিক উন্নয়ন নিশ্চিত হতে পারে।

Time Management in Islamic Perspective: An analysis
Abstract
Time is one of the innumerable and priceless n’imah (gifts) of Allah swta. Both the noble Quran and the followed Sunnah have given a great importance to this n’imah. Because, without the due management and utilization of time, development of human resource is but impossible. To that ends, shariah has regarded time as a crucial component. This article has contributed to explaining the value of time, its management and the significance of its management for the success of human being in this world and that world. From this study it has been proved that had the concept of contemporary time management been introduced centuries before by Islam. So in this article it has been concluded that If time is duly managed and utilized in accordance with the reasoned and scientific method as directed by Islam, a perfect development would be ensured.

বাংলাদেশে গৃহকর্মী নির্যাতন: প্রচলিত ও ইসলামী আইনে এর প্রতিকার ব্যবস্থা

গৃহকর্ম পৃথিবীর পুরনো পেশাসমূহের একটি। বর্তমান বিশ্বে প্রায় ৫২.৬ থেকে ১০০ মিলিয়ন মানুষ গৃহ শ্রমে নিয়োজিত রয়েছে। এই বিশাল জনগোষ্ঠী গৃহাভ্যন্তরে তাদের শ্রম বিনিয়োগ করে। তাদের অনেকেই গৃহকর্তা কর্তৃক নির্যাতনের শিকার হয়। গৃহকর্মী নির্যাতন অতি পুরনো সামাজিক ইস্যু হলেও বর্তমানে তা ভয়াবহ আকার ধারন করেছে। প্রচলিত নানা আইন দিয়েও কাক্সিক্ষত মাত্রায় এর প্রতিরোধ সম্ভব হচ্ছে না। গৃহাভ্যন্তরে ঘটতে থাকা এ অপরাধের লাগাম টেনে ধরার জন্য প্রচলিত ও ইসলামী আইনের আলোকে একটি সমন্বিত ব্যবস্থার প্রয়োজন। উভয় ধারার আইনকে সামনে রেখে গৃহকর্মী নির্যাতন প্রতিরোধে কার্যকর আইনী রূপরেখা প্রণয়নের স্বার্থে ব্যাপক গবেষণা আবশ্যক। আলোচ্য প্রবন্ধটি এ লক্ষ্য অর্জনের পথে একটি ক্ষুদ্র প্রয়াস। এ গবেষণায় গুণাত্মক বর্ণনামূলক পদ্ধতি অনুসরণ করা হয়েছে এবং গৃহকর্মী নির্যাতনের পরিচয়, ধরন ও পরিসংখ্যানভিত্তিক চিত্র তুলে ধরার পাশাপাশি এটি প্রতিরোধে প্রচলিত আইনের দুর্বলতাগুলোর প্রতিও ইংগিত করা হয়েছে। তাছাড়া গৃহকর্মীদের ব্যাপারে ইসলামের উদারনৈতিক ও উন্নত মানবিক দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি এতে প্রতিভাত হয়েছে।

Violence against Domestic Workers in Bangladesh: It’s Remedy in Conventional and Islamic Law
Abstract
Domestic work is one of the oldest professions in the world. A great number of employees ranging from 52.6 to 100 million is engaged in domestic works across the globe. Though such great number of people invests their labours in domestic works inside home, they are still victimized by their persecuting masters. Since the inception of civilization, violence against domestic workers is an antique social phenomenon. In the modern consumerist society it has become a pestilence. Though various laws are promulgated and executed, it cannot be controlled as per expectation. To control this indoor crime, an integrated and harmonized system of both conventional and Islamic law is needed. To conduct an extensive research based on both the legal norms is painstakingly required which would offer an effective legal mechanism and thereby this crime would be stopped and removed from the society. The article is a humble initiative to achieve that goal. Qualitative and descriptive methods have been employed to conduct this research. In this article violence against domestic workers has been introduced and various aspects of such violence coupled with a survey-based feature, has been depicted. In addition to this, the loopholes of existing laws have been addressed. Besides this, the highly sophisticated and benevolent humanitarian attitude of Islam towards domestic workers has been demonstrated.

একুশ শতকের সমস্যাসংকুল বিশ্বায়নে বাণিজ্যনীতি একটি অতিগুরুত্বপূর্ণ ইস্যু। বাণিজ্যনির্ভর অর্থ ব্যবস্থায় প্রত্যেকটি দেশই আমদানি-রপ্তানি নির্ভর। এ কারণে প্রতিটি রাষ্ট্রই নিজ নিজ স্বার্থ সংশ্লিষ্ট বাণিজ্যনীতি প্রণয়ন করতে গিয়ে অনেক ক্ষেত্রে অন্য রাষ্ট্রের স্বার্থক্ষুণেœর কারণ ঘটাতে পারে। এ লক্ষ্যে বিশ্ব বাণিজ্য সংস্থা আন্তর্জাতিক পরিসরে বিভিন্ন দেশের মধ্যে সমন্বয়ের মাধ্যমে সুসম্পর্ক স্থাপন ও বাণিজ্যে সকলের অংশগ্রহণ নিশ্চিতকরণের প্রয়াস অব্যাহত রেখেছে। বক্ষ্যমাণ প্রবন্ধে বিশ্ব বাণিজ্যসংস্থার চুক্তির আলোকে অনুন্নত দেশের সুযোগ-সুবিধা এবং ইসলামী আইনের সাথে তার সামঞ্জস্য বিধানের বিষয়ে আলোচনা করা হয়েছে। এতে বিশ্ব বাণিজ্য সংস্থার মূলনীতির সাথে ইসলামী আইনের দৃষ্টিকোণের তুলনামূলক ও বিশ্লেষণধর্মী পর্যালোচনা করা হয়েছে। প্রবন্ধ থেকে প্রমাণিত হয়েছে যে, ইসলামী আইনের মূলনীতি ও বিশ্ব বাণিজ্যসংস্থার অঙ্গীকার বা চুক্তিসমূহের মধ্যে বৈপরীত্য নেই, বরং ইসলামী আইনকে সামনে রেখে উক্ত নীতিমালা পুনর্গঠিত হলে অধিক ফলপ্রসূ হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে।

Activities of World Trade Organization: A Brief Analysis
Abstract
Trade regulations are one of the most widely discussed issues in the fast paced globalized world of the 21st century. In this current economic system each nation is heavily reliant on export import trade for economic progress. As such each country is interested in promulgating trade regulations which promote and preserve their national interest which may be in conflict with the interests and welfare of other nations. With this in view and to promote fair participation in trade, the World Trade Organization (WTO) works with all nations by establishing close cooperation and coordination at the international level. This article highlights the issues related to the national interests of developing nations in light of trade regulations set by WTO and also sheds light on its compatibility with Islamic Law. The article embarks upon an analytical and comparative discussion on the principles of WTO in light of Islamic Law. The article demonstrates that the principles and trade agreements of World trade organization are not in conflict with Islamic laws and would also bring about better results if the principles of WTO are reorganized according to Islamic Laws.

Recreation in Islam: A Preliminary Analysis
Abstract
Islam is a balanced way of life which acknowledges the natural temperament of human being. All the injunctions and rulings of Islam are both simply easy and elegantly mannered. As it encompasses all aspects of human life, it has paid special importance to the sound growth of human beings both spiritually and physically. To that ends, it has provided proper guidelines regarding recreation which plays a crucial role with regard to the mental growth of human being. An introduction to recreation, attitudes of Islam towards recreation, its parameter, characteristics and principles of recreational activities allowed by Islam, and various types and ways of recreation in the time of Rasul (S.) and Sahaba Kiram (R.) have been presented in this article. The article has mainly been accomplished in descriptive and analytical manner. After reading this article, people would understand all the recreations which are approved by Islam. Besides this, they would be inspired to practice sound and superb recreational activities and encouraged to avoid all the shameless and nude steps that run in the society under the aegis of recreation.
