Source of income and funding of the Centre
There are different sources to finance the Centre. It includes subscription by general members, well wishers and legal aid seekers, one time donation by individuals and organizations, zakat, selling of books and journal etc.
Bangladesh Islamic Law Research and Legal Aid Centre has been working since 1995 for making Islamic law popular and creating congenial atmosphere for application of Islamic law in the country. Whatever successes we have achieved so far in this regard, have happened only by the grace of Almighty Allah as well as for cooperation from interested people of the society- Alhamdu lillah.
We hope, interested benevolent people of the society will come forward to provide unhesitating support and financial cooperation to fulfilling this crucial need of the nation. May Allah bless us- Ameen.
A HUMBLE REQUEST
Bangladesh Islamic Law Research and Legal Aid Centre (BILRC) is striving to carry on multidimensional welfare oriented research and publication based efforts with a view to exposing the Islamic ideological aspect of law and justice and rendering providential services to create a research climate among the scholars. BILRC registered and approved by the Government of The People’s Republic of Bangladesh, has hosted more than fifty seminars and published 22 fundamental books. More to that, this institute has been publishing a research journal named Islami Ain O Bichar for twelve years which is greatly appreciated to be a research journal among the private and public university academics and highly accepted among them. Honorable justices, learned lawyers, well practiced educationists and ulama-e-kiram are involved in this institute. Along with publishing the encyclopedia of Islamic law, this institute has undertaken extensive programs. The Centre has already published two volumes of Fiqh Encyclopedia in the name of Family Law in Islam and another two in the name of Trade Law in Islam and the other six important books including two more Islamic trade law books, have been completed. Writing of more eight books is now in progress.
In addition to research activities, the Centre has been offering legal aid for many years to release the prisoners who are detained without trial or imprisoned unjustly. The Centre, engaging in the wellbeing and humanitarian services, has no income source of its own.
You and your friends’ financial assistance and cooperation offered for the cause of Allah SWTA, are the only driving force of the Centre. So it is a moral obligation for every brother and sister in Islam among you to financially contribute to the centre and thereby help propagate message of religion of peace among the people and encourage the present generation with regard to the Islamic rule of law and justice. Arguably you are closely requested to give a portion of your zakat or sadaqah to the centre with a view to expediting its programs.
As a final word, you are highly expected to strive as a representative in this regard to better the financial condition of the Centre

বাংলাদেশ ইসলামিক ল’ রিসার্চ এন্ড লিগ্যাল এইড সেন্টার- আইন ও বিচার ব্যবস্থার ইসলামী আদর্শ সম্পর্কে গবেষণা ও প্রকাশনাসহ কল্যাণমূলক নানামুখি কাজ করছে। বাংলাদেশ সরকার কর্তৃক নিবন্ধিত ও অনুমোদিত এই গবেষণা প্রতিষ্ঠান আইন গবেষণা সম্পর্কে অর্ধ শতাধিক সেমিনার, ৩০টি ডকুমেন্টারি গ্রন্থ প্রণয়ন এবং ১৮ বছর যাবৎ “ইসলামী আইন ও বিচার” নামে একটি গবেষণা জার্নাল প্রকাশ করছে; যা সরকারি ও বেসরকারি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে গবেষণা জার্নাল হিসেবে স্বীকৃত। তাছাড়া জার্নালটি আন্তর্জাতিক মান রক্ষা ও সর্বশেষ গবেষণা পদ্ধতি অনুসরণ করায় বাংলাভাষার একমাত্র জার্নাল হিসেবে Google Scholar ও পোল্যান্ড ভিত্তিক আন্তর্জাতিক জার্নাল রেটিং প্রতিষ্ঠান Index Copernicus এর ICI Journals Master List -এ ইনডেক্সভুক্ত হয়েছে এবং আরও কয়েকটি রেটিং প্রদানকারী সংস্থায় বিবেচনাধীন রয়েছে। বাংলাদেশের প্রথিতযশা শিক্ষাবিদ, আইনবিদ ও উলামায়ে কিরাম এই প্রতিষ্ঠানের সাথে জড়িত। এই সংস্থা “ইসলামী আইন বিশ্বকোষ” প্রকাশনাসহ ব্যাপক কর্মসূচি হাতে নিয়েছে। ইতোমধ্যে “ইসলামের পারিবারিক আইন” নামে ইসলামী ফিকহ্ বিশ্বকোষ-এর দুটি খণ্ড ও ইসলামের ব্যবসায় ও বাণিজ্য আইন নামে আরো ৪টি খণ্ড এবং বিশ্বখ্যাত মনীষীদের রচনায় ইসলামী আইন নামও ২ট খণ্ড প্রকাশিত হয়েছে। ব্যবসা-বাণিজ্য বিষয়ক আরো ১টি খণ্ড-সহ অন্যান্য বিষয়ে ৬টি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ গ্রন্থের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে এবং আরো ৮টি গ্রন্থ রচনার কাজ চলছে।
গবেষণার পাশাপাশি এই সংস্থা বিনা বিচার আটক বন্দিদের মুক্তির ব্যাপারে আইনী সহায়তা দিয়ে আসছে। মানবিক সেবা কাজে নিবেদিত সংস্থাটির পাবলিকেশন্স ছাড়া অন্য কোন আয়ের উৎস নেই। আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি অর্জনের উদ্দেশ্যে দেয়া আপনার ও আপনার বন্ধু-পরিজনদের সাহায্য-সহযোগিতাই সংস্থার চালিকাশক্তি।
ইসলাম তথা শান্তিময় জীবনব্যবস্থার দাওয়াত মানুষের মাঝে পৌঁছে দেয়া এবং ইসলামী আইন ও অনুশাসনের প্রতি বর্তমান প্রজন্মকে আগ্রহী করে তোলার এই মহতী কাজে ইনফাক ফী সাবিলিল্লাহ তথা আল্লাহর পথে ব্যয়ের প্রেরণায় শরিক হওয়া প্রত্যেক ঈমানদার ভাই-বোনের কর্তব্য। তাই আপনার যাকাত বা দানের একাংশ প্রদান করে দীনের এ মহতী অভিযাত্রাকে আরো বেগবান করার আবেদন করছি। একাজে আপনার প্রতিনিধিত্বশীল ভূমিকা একান্তকাম্য।
