Bangladesh Islamic Law Research and Legal Aid Centre (BILRLAC)<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n
Before the British rule, Islamic traditions and legal ideas were prevalent in every aspect of this country and society. Ever since the British power colonized this region, the practice of Islamic law was banished at the state level. Consequently, many detrimental changes have been in place in the Muslim mindset and lifestyle. Nowadays, questions are being raised about the effectiveness of Islamic law without having any proper idea about Islam. As such the propaganda against it is on the rise. Ignorance, confusion and misconceptions about Islamic law and its dynamics are increasing even among the Muslims.<\/span><\/p>\n

Keeping in view the challenges of modern society and the state there is a need to present the overall welfare, usefulness and practical capabilities of Islamic law through the concerted efforts of both conventional and Islamic jurists. It is now strongly felt necessary to establish the truth that Islamic law contains sustainable elements for the establishment and development of the rights of all citizens regardless of religion and caste. This is not a myth; instead, history testifies that Islam has a glorious past of universal welfare. With the aim of building a prosperous future in the light of the golden past, the \u2018Bangladesh Islamic Law Research and Legal Aid Center\u2019 was established in 1995 and it started its institutional journey in 2005. The center is a non-profitable research and legal aid organisation approved and registered by the Government of Bangladesh.<\/span><\/div>\n
